delegate tiffany alston was accused of paying a law firm employee $800 in state money of she was also accused of theft and using state funds for her wedding. she will have to perform 300 hours of community service and pay pack the $#00 to the state. -- $800 to the state. lawyers for jerry sandusky say they plan to appeal his sentence. tuesday, a judge sentenced sandusky to a minimum of 30 years in prison. sandusky was convicted earlier this year of sexually abusing 10 children. during tuesday's hearing, some of sandusky's victims testified and described how sandusky's abuse changed their lives. sandusky also addressed the court and again denied any wrongdoing. some of sandusky's victims are suing penn state over how the university responded to the complaints about sandusky. when we come back, we'll talk about a heinous crime. a 14-year-old girl shot for expressing her demand for an

we will wake up with some cloud cover but i think by midday, kind of partly sunny and then mostly sunny afternoon. this front will kind of reinforce the cooler air later tonight. our temperatures will fall back. but up ahead of it, highs should be about 70 degrees. that front approaching later today. we do stay dry. breezes will be with us. if you're going out to the game later, you might want a jacket. it will feel a little cooler with the breezes. our next day of high pressure moves in tomorrow and cools us down with highs expected to be back in the low 60s. winds out of west here at about 10. a bit breezy out there later today. breezy tonight as the cool air starts to move back in. let me mention some 30s off to the north and west later tonight and early tomorrow. so it will be another very cool overnight. there is your accu-weather seven-day forecast and there is a nice trend. we have possible baseball today, tomorrow, friday and weather couldn't be better for it with a nice warming trend as

side of the road. northbound 5 at gallant green, i have a crash this. already dedays starting to stack up there. lands are open, no problems reported out of germantown headed out to the lane divide. that's a check of your fox 5 on-timetraffic. imetraffic. >> thank you. in the race for the white house, president obama is taking a break from the campaign trail today from meetings in washington. meantime, republican nominee mitt romney will continue a push in the battleground state of ohio. romney was there yesterday as was president obama. no candidate in the past 11 elections has won the presidency without winning ohio. now, new polls show the race is tightening there. a cnn survey shows the president ahead of romney by four points. another poll has romney up by one. first lady michelle obama gave her husband a helping hand yesterday by rallying supporters in the battleground state of virginia speaking at the loudoun county fairgrounds. the first lady spoke of her husband's accomplishments while in office including his push for women's equality and
